- This Bruna Parede’s motor head can be infinitely positioned vertically and horizontally in 180-degree arcs, making this a very versatile and directional fan. It can be mounted in small or awkward spaces or in front of HVAC ducts to make more efficient the heating, ventilation or air conditioning of a room.
- The Bruna Parede is equipped with metal blades and safety cage along with, an Underwriters Laboratories required side-mounted, wall junction box.
- Brushed Copper, Polished or Brushed Brass, White, Bronzette and Black Nickel finishes are special order at this time. There are no special order charges for these finishes. Please call 1-800-807-1826 for lead times.
- The Bruna Parede is damp location rated with metal blades only. Damp location protective powder/clear coatings for Chrome and Brushed Nickel finishes are an additional cost. Damp location protective coatings for Polished Copper/Brass, Brushed Copper/Brass, Black, White, Bronzette and Black Nickel are no additional charge. Please call 1-800-807-1826 for lead times.

- Safety Laboratory Listings: All ceiling and wall fans are CUL listed for Damp Location provided that metal blades are used and that fan has special protective clear or powder coatings. Underwriters Laboratories suggests that Matthews Fan safety cage/metal blade combination be used with our fans when mounted in rooms with ceiling heights of less than 10.0 Ft. In the U.S., if safety cages are used, our fans can be mounted on ceilings or walls with ceiling heights as low as 7.0 Ft. In Canada, if safety cages are used, our fans can be mounted on ceilings or walls with ceiling heights as low as 8.3 Ft/2.5 M.
- Finishes: Standard (stock) - Brushed Nickel, Polished Chrome, Polished Copper, Bronze (plated) and Black; Special (non-stock) - Brushed Copper, Polished Brass, Brushed Brass, White, Bronzette (powder coat) and Black Nickel
- Downrods for Ceiling Fans: ALL Matthews ceiling fans are equipped with at no charge one field-cuttable down rod of 5, 10, 20 or 30,” and one ceiling mounting apparatus (for a flat or vaulted ceiling).Only if 48” or 72” downrods, upgrades or replacement parts are ordered will charges apply for this otherwise no charge equipment. If not otherwise specified, standard equipment is a 20” down rod and a flat ceiling mounting apparatus.
- Wall controls: Matthews fans require fully variable wall controls for optimum regulation. Remote controls and three speed (High-Medium Low) controls will not function with our products. The two acceptable UL compatible controls are: Decora Switch Plate: Lutron Skylark White (SFS5E designer slide) 5.0 Amp – x2 wires ( x1 hot / x1 neutral);Standard Switch Plate: Lutron White (FS5E retro rotary) 5.0 Amp
